Alliance: Netmaster Dryers and small-chassis

This article covers installation of readers on Alliance Netmaster dryers and Netmaster small-chassis washers/dryers

Parts

  • Reader (with generic Serial board ASSY-02-02-10)
  • Cable harness (02-06-53)

Installation

  1. Before proceeding, you should assign numbers to each of the machines in the laundry room/building. It is highly recommended that you place number labels on each washer and dryer machine.

  2. Set the machine type and number using the DIP switch on the back of the reader board.

  3. Turn machine power OFF!

  4. Open the service door, pull-out the control board and coin drop assembly, detach the coin drop connector and and remove the coin drop

  5. Connect the 4-wire connector to header H7 on the control board:


  6. Connect the 2-wire connector the 24Vac power supply connector coming off the 24Vac transformer on the machine

  7. Mount the reader

  8. Set the Start Pulse mode on the dryer or washer control.

    On a tumble dryer, find setting 65 and set it to either 128 (for a single pulse start) or 192 (for multi-pulse start which allows small increments of time every time you tap the card):




    In small-chassis washers/dryers, find setting 60 and set it to either 128 (for a single pulse start) or 192 (for multi-pulse start on dryers which allows small increments of time every time you tap the card)
