Laundrylux Hero Washers

This installation note covers Laundrylux Hero (or Encore Pro) Washers. The reader uses serial control to communication with the machine.


Parts

  • Reader (with Generic Relay board - ASSY-02-02-10)
  • Cable harness

Installation

  1. Before proceeding, you should assign numbers to each of the machines in the laundry room/building. It is highly recommended that you place number labels on each washer and dryer machine.

  2. Set the DIP switch to number the reader. See Reader DIP Switch settings

  3. Connections
    Simply snap together the small 2-pin connectors (for power) and the larger white connector (power)


  4. Enable serial communication on the washer
    Enter Service Mode -> CONFIGURATION -> CONNECTION SETTINGS. And set SERIAL PAUMENT DEVICE to ENABLED


  5. Proceed to secure the reader to the machine

  6. Activate the card reader with the Store's Activation Card
